Most of us know the importance of cleaning the gas grill, but many of us don’t take the time to give it a thorough cleaning. Before you store the barbecue grill away, you should deal with the burnt residue on the grates, or rust forming on the plates so it doesn’t lead to damage.
Whatever type of gas grill you have, you should start with the grates:
1. Wait for the portable gas grill to completely cool before you start to clean.
2. Most grates can be cleaned with a brush. You should wipe in the direction of the grates, and make sure you cover the underside as well.
