Information
It's important to clean your range hood for the kitchen cleanup. As we all know that range hoods can remove grease, steam and odors from cooking. Junsky wall-mounted range hoods use removable aluminum mesh filters, which can make the hoods totally easy to maintain and clean. Also, you can wash the filters in your dishwasher.

Kitchen hoods need to be cleaned from grease buildup periodically to keep them working effectively and efficiently. Some hoods do not have outside vents and use replaceable charcoal filters to clean smoke and odors.

To clean your range hood, first turn off the power to the appliance.

Wipe the inside and outside of the range hood regularly. When you need a thorough scrub, you can use hot water, dishwashing detergent or ammonia to clean the grease. Remember that do not use abrasive pads or scouring powders because they can scratch the finish. For the Junsky kitchen hoods with LED lights, you can wash the light bulb after it's cool down, and rinse and dry it to keep the light bright.

If the fan blades get greasy, it will restrict the air flow and cause motor over-heating. You need to wash the inside and outside of the hood with warm, soapy water often. Junsky chimney-style stainless steel range hood PR30SS is convenient to be cleaned. Occasionally take the metal filter out of the hood and rinse it as well. Put the filter in warm, soapy water. Let it soak for a few minutes, and then wash and rinse it. After dry the filter, put it back in the hood.

Usually check the manual directions for cleaning your hood. If you manage to clean your range hoods regularly, this can take you about an hour or less. Clean and maintain the range hoods to avoid increase in noise, reduced airflow and motor life.

It is recommended to clean range hoods once a year, or more often if you use the range hood a lot for grilling and barbeque.
